A financial investor and real estate developer, Beta Soong is also the founder and course designer for the impressive Tiger Beach Golf Links in north-east China. Soong created the layout with help from a talented construction crew and head shaper, the effectiveness of their contours and design features are a tribute to the time they spent studying the great links courses of Great Britain. Tiger Beach isn't a world-class course but for this region it is very good. Whether Soong has the passion for further design work remains to be seen.
