The winner of the 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews, Louis Oosthuizen is a South African professional golfer whose first golf golf course design project was the La Réserve Golf Links at Heritage Golf Club in Mauritius.

La Réserve Golf Links at Heritage was primarily designed by fellow South African Peter Matkovich, with Oosthuizen acting as a consultant. The course is located along the southern shores of Mauritius and opened in late 2023.
