Until recently, the Amstel Golf Club owned and operated two courses in the southeast suburb of Cranbourne, the newer and more open Ranfurlie course and the club’s original tree-lined Park Course. The Park course at Amstel occupied a fairly unremarkable tract of ground surrounded by housing estates, with lots of back and forth holes across straight tree lined fairways and toward green sites flanked by bunkers either side. The members' long enjoyed the test, but after Ranfurlie was built it was a clear number two at the club.
The land for the Park Course was sold for residential development, and closed for play in 2016.
