The Barossa Valley Golf Club Nuriootpa is situated just 5 minutes drive from Nuriootpa and boasts a 6026 metre par 72 course with an ACR rating of 70.8.

Many visitors consider the average size greens some of the best and most consistent they have played on.

The fairways seem generous but the rough can be punishing and some well-placed bunkers guard the fairways and greens.

The tees are generous and well made and players have the use of a practice tee and fairway, large putting green and a practice bunker and chipping green.

Because of its delightful bush country setting this spacious Barossa Valley golf course can give a feeling of truly “being away from it all.”

The Club House, though small, provides a great atmosphere following any round.

The golf course is within easy reach from the local towns of Nuriootpa, Tanunda, Angaston, Gawler, Kapunda,Eudunda, Truro and is only 35 minutes from Elizabeth and an hour from the Adelaide Airport.

Enjoy a relaxing game of golf in a true bush setting complimented by the wild life. Kangaroos wander the course as you play and bird fanciers will be delighted by the rare bird life found on a golf course that also acts as a sanctuary for flora and fauna.

The course has a fully stocked pro shop run by PGA Professional Ian Devlin who is on hand to provide hire clubs, buggies and carts. There is a generous practice putting green, practice chipping and bunker play green as well as a driving range.

Although the course is undulating and offers very good variety in playing each hole the walk is made more enjoyable by the absence of any strenuous hill climbing.

Even if you are not playing golf on your visit to the Barossa come and see us, we would like you to pass on to your golfing friends all you know about the Barossa Valley Golf Club Nuriootpa. Owned and run by the members. Visitors welcome.
