Cobram Barooga Golf Club - West Course

Australia, Murray River
5.2 (43)
Designer: club members
Course Opened: 1986

One of the more popular golf resorts on the Murray River, Cobram Barooga is home to two courses – the Old Course and the newer West Course. Where the Old Course is narrower and more tricky off the tee, the West features generous playing areas and larger green complexes. Both carry strong elements of what might be described a modern, resort type feel, but very much characteristic of the Murray River landscape. River gum trees abound, and the couch fairways and bent greens are mostly fine and well maintained.

The club doesn’t quite have the knock-out holes of Murray Downs or the Black Bull and Murray courses at Yarrawonga, but the accommodation options are excellent and the value-for-money hard to top anywhere in the country
