Originally designed by Mike Wolveridge and Peter Thomson in 1982, the Country Club Tasmania is located in Launceston and has undergone a major redevelopment due to open fully in summer 2026 / 2027.
The changes include a state of the art driving range with Toptracer ball-tracking technology in every bay, and an 18-hole mini golf facility.
On the Championship course, all 18 holes have been redesigned and rebuilt by shaper turned designer Robin Gibson. A true parklands-style golf experience, the course features sand-capped fairways for year round playability, along with winding waterways, mature trees and sculpted fairways that make for a distinct contrast to the links-style courses Tasmania is famous for.
We look forward to reviewing the finished golf course when complete.
