The Redcliffe Golf Club boasts a picturesque 18 hole Golf Course, located in the suburb of Clontarf Beach, just a 35 minute drive north of Brisbane the capital of Queensland.  The championship standard course combines the characteristics of a sand belt coastal strip with the river estuary outlook across Hayes Inlet.

The course, designed by Stan Francis was built in 1935. The Blue Course, with a length of 6099 metres, is a Par 71, ACR 72.  The Ladies Course (Red) measures 5431 meters with a Par 73, AWCR rating of 74.  Both Blue and Red courses have a Slope rating of 123.  The course layout was unchanged until 1985 when the 9th and 10th holes were rebuilt to reduce ball damage to adjacent private property. The layout and the topography are such that no player on any tee has to hit-off into the sun during normal competition times.

A progressive maintenance program and a supply of recycled water from the Redcliffe City Council ensures superb year round greens and fairways.  An abundance of bird life prevails around the course and it’s not unusual to spot the occasional koala and kangaroos.

The prevailing ocean breezes can have a major influence on your game and when a strong south-easterly is blowing, the three finishing holes can be a challenge to golfers of any calibre.

The course has hosted the 2005 Queensland Amateur Championship, 2004 Queensland Medal and held the Pre-qualifying events for the Australasian PGA Tour School and the Australian PGA Championship in 2000.
