Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort - Executive Course

Australia, Murray River
4.6 (31)
Course Opened: 1986

The largest public access golf facility in Australia, the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort is situated alongside the Murray River and home to 45 holes of golf. The club was founded in Victoria in 1897, but moved across the Murray and into New South Wales during the early 20th century when farmland at Mulwala enabled them to expand their golf course to a full 18. That course was redesigned by Sam Berriman in the 1950s, and later again by Peter Thomson and Michael Wolveridge in the 1980s. Thomson and Wolveridge also added the Murray Course in the 1980s, and a 9-hole Executive course.

All 45 holes at Yarrawonga Mulwala are generally well maintained, and interchangeable with each other as the nines all have a consistent feel across the property. The Executive Course is shorter and more straightforward than the full courses and an excellent base for beginners, juniors and seniors to enjoy their golf.

With perfect year-round weather for golf, the Murray River is a popular destination for Australian golfers and the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort an ideal base for those wishing to stay several days and fill up on numerous rounds of golf.
