St George's Hill

Tandridge Golf Club

England, SE England, London & Heathlands, Surrey
5.1 (7)
Designer: Harry S. Colt
Course Opened: 1924

In Volume 1 of The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses, Tom Doak published that.

“Thanks to recent restoration work, this course south of London has reemerged as one of Colt’s most provocative designs. It had over 200 bunkers at one point, making it Colt’s most prolifically bunkered design. Not all are being put back and nor do they need to. The back nine features some epic holes like the long one shot 13th with a precipice to the right and the 14th which plunges over 100 feet downhill from tee to fairway. However, the stretch of holes from the 2nd through the 6th offers just as good of golf.”

Tandridge Golf Club received a score of 6 out of 10 from one of Tom Doak’s co-authors.
