Opened in 2008, the North Course covers a total of 86 hectares and has been designed to meet the needs of international professional tournaments from the beginning. With its 7,1651 meters of Champions Tee, it is the longest on the European Tour and one of the 10 longest courses in the world.

In addition to the length, the element of water represents one of the greatest challenges of the modern and unique North Course. 17 tracks are designed with water hazards, which accompany the fairways partly from the tee, along the beautiful fairways, to the green. Strategically positioned close to the greens, bunkers challenge every player to the highest level.
