Castelfalfi Golf Club

Italy, Tuscany
Designer:
Course Opened: 2010

Tuscany has always been a mecca for golfing enthusiasts. Its mild climate means that golf can usually be played here all year round. Of all the golf courses in Tuscany, Castelfalfi Golf Club has the largest course in the area, attracting golfers from all over the world.

The courses of Castelfalfi Golf Club, built according to the principles of sustainability, are among the most striking when it comes to scenery and the most taxing from a sporting point of view. Castelfalfi Golf Club in Tuscany, with its 27 holes, throws down the gauntlet to the most expert players and also guarantees an enjoyable experience to passionate beginners. A practical green with turf putting stations, and covered areas for holding golf clinics is also available, as well as a Club House.

The Mountain Course (18 holes, Par 72, 6,351 meters), is a challenging course, suitable for all golfers and highly appreciated by advanced players. The natural topography of the land has a strong influence on the layout of the course, giving each fairway an individual character.

Opened in August 2010, this course is the result of an accurate re-designing project, undertaken by two expert architects: Rainer Preissmann and Wilfried Moroder.

The Lake Course (9 holes, Par 37, 3,171meters) is a fascinating course, also suitable for golf beginners. Inaugurated in November 2011, the course was designed by award-winning German golf architects Rainer Preissmann and Wilfried Moroder. Starting out with a west-oriented tee, the course loops back on itself, embracing the undulating Tuscan landscape and finishes back at the Club House.
