TPC Kuala Lumpur

Palm Garden Golf Club

Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
5 (1)
Designer: Ted Parslow
Course Opened: 2009

Located strategically in Putrajaya, Malaysia's administrative capital and Kuala Lumpur's twin city, Palm Garden is also situated next to Cyberjaya, the Smart City and within close proximity to UNITEN, Multimedia university, UPM and Technology Park.

It is a 20 minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur city center and 30 minutes from KLIA-Sepang along the ELITE Highway. There is excellent accessibility via Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) and Lebuhraya Lembah Kelang Selatan.

The club embarked on a major exercise in 2009 which saw the emergence of 18 new holes which is now open for play.

With the new 18 holes in place in addition to the excellent clubhouse facilities, we can assure you that the Palm Garden Team will more than meet your expectations on how a golfer should be indulged.

The designer, Australian architect Ted Parslow, has incorporated interesting aspects of the landscape for a course that is set to be exciting as well as enchanting. This is further strengthened when you find greens carpeted by Bermuda Tifdwarf, while the Hybrid Zoysia is used on tee boxes and fairways. The rough is host to the Zoysia Matrella species.

The two tier drink hut which is strategically located in the heart of the course offers breathtaking views of the course and the surrounding wetlands.

The Course is sand-capped and golfers will find there are lot of undulations, mounds and swales. A lot of natural boulders and rocks that were dug up were reused to add to the aesthetics of the design and it was worked out beautifully. When one plays here, they will feel that they are playing in another country.
