New Zealand, North Island, Wellington

Course Opened: 1892

Having merged from The Hutt Golf Club and The Boulcott Golf Club, Boulcott’s Farm Heritage Golf Club is reflecting a clear awareness of its place in history.

In 2010 the former Hutt Golf Club and Boulcott Golf Club merged to form Boulcott’s Farm Heritage Golf Club. The two previous clubs had provided golf between them for 200 years – the Hutt Golf Club having been established in 1892.

Set in park-like surrounds, this long Par 71 layout is a challenge for all golfers. The course is fully irrigated and intensively groomed with reasonably narrow fairways.

The greens are large, sand based and subtlety contoured. They run true and are generally fast. Most of the greens are guarded by sand bunkers, grass knolls and hollows which add to the challenge when your approach shots miss the target.

The Short Course has been built, as has the 18-hole course, to USGA standards. Just under 1000 metres in length this is a unique venue to develop your golf game. Access to both courses is from the Military Road Pro-shop. A practice range is available, range balls to be purchased through the Proshop.
