Cawder Golf Club - Championship Course

Scotland, West Coast, Glasgow Region
Designer: James Braid
Course Opened: 1933

Our Championship course was designed by the 5 time British Open Champion, and famous golf course architect James Braid.

It measures 6279 yards and is a true par 70 with exceptional putting surfaces, which will provide a wonderful challenge for every standard of golfer. It affords lovely views towards the Campsie Hills, the picturesque woodland course meanders through the Cawder estate, criss-crossing the Antonine Wall and flourishing when you enter Cawder’s very own “Amen Corner”, holes 13 through to 16. Your round reaches its finale at the stunning signature par 3 18th, overlooking the elegant mansion clubhouse, built in 1764.

Our 18th century clubhouse not only provides a wonderful backdrop to the finishing hole on the championship course, but inside you can be sure of a warm welcome and high quality Scottish dining. Members and guests alike can be assured of a warm welcome from out friendly staff dedicated to providing the best in class customer service, ensuring you have a truly memorable experience. All of this just 10 minutes from Glasgow city centre.
