The Germiston Golf course is idyllically situated right on the banks of Johannesburg’s glorious Victoria Lake. Established in 1897, Germiston Golf Club is steeped in history and tradition which adds to the allure of one the finest woodlands style courses in Gauteng.

Although having undergone many changes and improvements since its inception the clubs “Old English” design has stood the test of time and remains a theme throughout.

Lauded as a “must-play for any golfing enthusiast”, Germiston’s course is a true gem of Par 72. The challenges lay in long Par 4’s, tricky 3’s and the rounded greens. Wayward strokes will however find redemption in the Par 5’s. All fairways are immaculately taken care of and the kikuyu surface provides a fantastic run-on for the ball.

The course is simply stunning to walk over, tall woodland trees complemented by well-maintained lawns, sculpted bunkers and of course the Victoria Lake make it easy to see why so many enjoy it here.
