Wedgewood will boast a beautiful tree-lined 18-hole championship golf course, with generous undulating fairways, providing a certain “country” ambiance to the golfers who will grace it. The original course is widely recognised by the golfing community as one of the most interesting and truly challenging golf courses in the Eastern Cape and the upgrade will promote it once again into the most spectacular golf estate in the region.

The R35 Million reconstruction of the golf course includes a total redesign by Golf Data, incorporating seven large new lakes covering 4ha of additional surface water on the front nine holes that will be a feature for the adjacent residential properties. This will both enhance the scenery and raise the challenge for players on what was previously a relatively flat portion of the course. The back nine holes, characterised by a picturesque valley with existing water features, wetlands and streams, has been upgraded and modernised in line with Golf Data’s design philosophy.
