Tom Fazio designed this astonishingly beautiful layout with dramatic cliff-lined fairways, waterfalls, natural limestone caves and superb TiffEagle Bermuda greens. Our signature golf course provides golfers with 18 holes of pure pleasure and no lack of challenge through plenty of elevation change and visual impact.

To keep The Foothills golf course challenging and evolving to meet the changing nature of golf, the course was upgraded in 2004 to include new fairway and tee grass, increasing the course by nearly 200 yards. We consulted Tom Fazio’s representatives to determine the best places to add yardage and tees to ensure improved plan and continued challenges for players. At 7,125 yards, The Foothills “greens up” earlier in the season and stays green later into the fall, giving golfers a more consistent, dense playing surface.

Five different sets of tee boxes make the course appealing to a wide variety of skill levels. Long, accurate drives down the Hybrid TIFSport Bermuda fairways are a hallmark of Tom Fazio’s design. And with small, TiffEagle Bermuda greens, undulating aprons and grass bunkers, The Foothills course is a shot-maker’s paradise.

Established in 1986, The Fazio Foothills course is highly rated by experts. The Dallas Morning News consistently listed several holes from the course among the the State’s Best or Most Beautiful Holes (holes #12, 4, 9, 16, 10, 18). Golfweekmagazine named the Foothills #4 among America’s 50 Best Resort Courses. And the course is also named the Best Resort Course in Texas.
