“Building on top of volcanic rock is neither easy nor cheap, and kudos to Jack Nicklaus and his team for working with the natural contours and vegetation to create this beautiful and challenging course without breaking the bank. My only complaint was that the abundant short grass in the fairways and greens was cut so tight that it felt impossible to stop one’s ball from running away off the green into trouble.”

The jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Pronghorn Resort received a score of 6 out of 10 from Tom Doak, and the same from one of his co-authors.
