Former Open champion and regular winner on both the European Tour and PGA TOUR, Sweden's Henrik Stenson launched a golf course design business in 2015 with local partner Christian Lundin.
His first golf course, the Österåker Golf Club, opened in 2019 in Sweden. It will be interesting to follow Stenson's career, and see whether he is involved in more worthwhile projects than the average 'celebrity' signature designer.
