The co-designer of both Kingsbarns and Castle Stuart in Scotland, Mark Parsinen is an American investor turned golf developer who drove two of the most successful modern golf projects in the United Kingdom.
While it is unclear precisely how much design input Parsinen had at Kingsbarns, he is said to have been an active partner to Gil Hanse in the design work at Castle Stuart.
