Education City Golf Club is a landmark project for Qatar and the world of golf, offering a revolutionary and holistic approach to growing the game of golf. It comprises of 33 golf holes (18 Holes, 9 Holes & 6 Holes) that have been specially crafted and designed by Jose Maria Olazábal. The course was designed in line with USGA standards with all green areas of the golf course including the fairways, greens, tees and rough being USGA Specification. The facility includes a state-of-the-art learning and practice facility housed in the Centre of Excellence along with a TrackMan driving range.

The 18 Hole Championship course is a Par 72 that will put your skills to the ultimate test as it takes you through the desert and wadi terrain.
 
Olazábal has purposely led the first few holes of the golf course to an ancient wadi wall, allowing its charm and beauty to set the tone for your whole round. “Along several holes on both the front and back nine, we continue the reoccurring riverbed theme feature – which, on occasion, comes strategically into play”, Olazábal says. The course length totals 7306 yards, with the longest hole measuring 593 yards from the Championship tees.
