Depending on who you believe, Hubert Chesneau either designed the Albatross Course at Le Golf National in Paris himself or had absolutely no input at all into the final product. Robert von Hagge was supposed to design the course, but after disagreements with Chesneau he left the project and whether the subsequent course was built to his plan seems hotly debated.

Having seen the Albatross course in the flesh, it's hard to believe that anyone would want to claim it as their own but apparently Chesneau is immensely proud of the layout and its completion led to further work for him in France.

Without apparent architectural credentials, however, and based on the work done at Le Golf National, it would be hard to recommend Chesneau to prospective golf developers. For general design advice contact Global Golf Group.
