Depending on who you believe, Hubert Chesneau either designed the Albatross Course at Le Golf National in Paris himself or had absolutely no input at all into the final product. Robert von Hagge was supposed to design the course, but after disagreements with Chesneau he left the project and whether the subsequent course was built to his plan seems hotly debated.
Regardless of the truth, the building of Le Golf National led to further work for Chesneau in France.
