Another celebrity golfer turned so-called 'designer', Vijay Singh doesn't appear the sort of Pro with as keen an interest in golf course architecture as, perhaps, the fees associated with the business.
Vijay has a hole at the Legends Resort in South Africa named after him, but IMG through European Golf Design are responsible for the design of that particular hole. He was involved in a co-design of the terribly difficult Valley Course at The Els Club in Malaysia and has consulted at a major tournament venue in his homeland of Fiji, Natadola Bay, which we look forward to reviewing in due course.
We would only recommend a player like Vijay Singh in collaboration with a Quality Designer.
